Al Grimes | Managing Partner - Business Development
Aldonis Grimes is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Cuyahoga County Fatherhood Initiative. He has managed the initiative from inception into a successful best practice program while securing over 14 million dollars for fatherhood activities/programs/special events from a combination of county, state, and federal funding. Mr. Grimes manages all county-related fatherhood contracts, leads community activities, and represents the county in collaborations. He also directs policy development and technical assistance among collaborations and works with national, state, and local partners to monitor the successes of other fatherhood programs.

Prior to beginning his work at Cuyahoga County, Mr. Grimes spent four years as part of the General Motors Corporation’s Minority Dealer Development Program in Detroit, Michigan and prior to that career move Mr. Grimes spent 23 years in various management positions with the British Petroleum (BP America) Corporation. Mr. Grimes is the proud father of two daughters, Jennifer, a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta and Ashley a graduate of Emory University, which is also in Atlanta. Mr. Grimes graduated from Ohio Northern University with a B.A. in Business Administration. Mr. Grimes also completed the Business Development Program at the Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Management.

Mr. Grimes has also spent time working with community organizations that include, the United Way, the United Negro College Fund, SCLC, BPA, the Boy Scouts of America and others.
Dr. Jehoshaphat K. Jones | Managing Partner - Program Director
Dr. Jehoshaphat K. Jones has over 25 years of governance, risk, and compliance experience (Financial Services Sector and Information Technology industries), including concentrations in business analytics, training, policy and technical writing, and program/project management. As a North Carolina Teaching Fellows recipient (full academic scholarship), Dr. Jones matriculated and graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and education. Dr. Jones completed a master's degree in business administration (finance) from Strayer University and completed a doctoral degree in business administration (strategy and innovation) from Capella University.

Dr. Jones served ten years as a K-12 teacher, and during his teaching tenure, he taught advanced placement biology, advanced placement chemistry, physical science, ecology, and environmental science. While at Harding University High School (an accredited International Baccalaureate High School) in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system, Dr. Jones implemented standards-based instruction to ensure students made significant academic gains. Dr. Jones created units of instruction focused on student success through project and discovery-based learning activities. He is credited with a record of 100 percent pass rate for all students in biology and chemistry on the North Carolina End-of-Course tests. Dr. Jones delivered interventions and developed flexible lesson routines and procedures that were built in response to learning outcomes.

Furthermore, Dr. Jones has an extensive background in developing leader-led, e-learning courseware, professional development solutions, and family engagement workshops.
